Frequently Asked Questions

That happens more than it should, and people who have been through it are right to be careful. We are not going to answer it by telling you we are different, because that is what the last one said too.

What we can give you is a record. More than 4,000 students have completed a course with us, 81% of the students who start finish, and there are 60+ video case studies of people talking about how it went for them.

The qualification is the same one. The course is a nationally recognised qualification on the national training register, and it is the same code and the same national record whoever delivers it. It goes against your USI like any other.

What differs is how you get there. Ours is built around the experience you already have and works around your shifts, rather than requiring you to sit in a classroom being taught work you already do.

So have a lot of the people who enrol with us, and they nearly all say the same thing: it was not that the work was too hard. It was full-time hours, shift patterns, kids, and for most of them the 200-hour work placement, which is the point where people who have finished every single unit still walk away without the qualification.

There is no 200-hour placement here.

That is the part we changed. You work through it around your job, help is available after hours and on weekends, and one named Account Manager stays with your file so that going quiet for a fortnight does not mean quietly dropping out.

There are interest-free payment plans, so the cost is spread out rather than paid in one go, and Afterpay, Zip and Klarna are all accepted as well.

Your Account Manager will go through the options with you on your eligibility call and give you a real figure for your situation. Nothing is charged, and no payment details are taken, before that conversation happens.

There is no classroom, no commute and no fixed timetable. You work through it at your own pace, and support is available after hours and on weekends, which is when most of our students actually sit down with it.

If life gets in the way, and it does, you talk to your Account Manager and you pick it back up. That is the point of the blended model.

This is one of the most common things people tell us, and it is exactly why every student gets a named Account Manager rather than a help desk.

They will walk you through the portal on your first day, show you how to upload what you need, and stay with you until you finish. If you can send a photo on your phone, you can do this.

Bring it to the call. A lot of the people who enrol with us worked as nurses, social workers or managers before they came to Australia, and then started again at the bottom here because the paperwork did not travel with them.

The whole model is built on counting experience you already have, and that includes the work you did before you arrived as well as everything you have done since.

Most people who enrol are already working in community services, aged care, disability, youth or family support in some form, and a lot of them have been doing more than their job title says.

The eligibility check exists precisely so somebody can look at your situation properly and tell you the best path, including telling you if this is not the right course for you.

Yes. You get one named Account Manager, and our students tend to name theirs in their reviews. Bev, Melanie, Kevin, Blenda and RC are all named by students in the reviews on this page, which is usually the clearest sign it is real.
