Diploma of School Age Education and Care – CHC50221
In Australia’s regulated school age education and care services, educators play a pivotal role in daily operations. They oversee program planning, implementation, and management across all service areas, utilising specialised knowledge and applying theoretical concepts to various work scenarios. Additionally, educators supervise volunteers and/or staff.
These educators primarily operate in outside school hours care and vacation care settings.
To earn this qualification, individuals must complete a minimum of 280 hours of work with school age children in regulated education and care services in Australia. These hours can be aggregated across relevant competency units.

- Submission of requirements for the enrolment
- Once everything is reviewed and approved, you will receive a Welcome Email from the Admin with instructions
- You will then be endorsed to one of our licensed trainers or Trainer assistant.
- The trainer offering the diploma of Community Service in Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane will get in touch with you to talk about your experience in the industry and guide you on how to start collecting evidence and will touch base with you and give you feedback until you finish the course
- Certificate will be issued Within 12 weeks of receiving sufficient and complying evidence of competency in all applied for units of competency.
