Extra Benefits

Why This Course Matters

Epilepsy affects approximately 250,000 Australians, meaning most healthcare and support workers will care for someone living with the condition during their career. Yet many workers report feeling underprepared to respond to a seizure. This course directly addresses that gap. You’ll walk away knowing how to recognise different seizure types, apply first-aid correctly, support the person’s dignity throughout, and document events in a way that genuinely informs care. It’s not just a compliance tick — it’s the training that makes a real difference on the floor.

Hear from our students!

Before this course, I honestly wasn't sure what to do when a client had a seizure. Now I know exactly how to respond, what to record, and when to escalate. It's given me real confidence on the floor.

Sarah

The scenarios felt so realistic, situations I actually face at work. Learning how to follow an individual seizure plan and document it properly has made a huge difference to how our whole team communicates handover.

James Okoye

Clear, practical, and easy to follow. I appreciated that it focused on dignity and privacy, not just the clinical steps. This is exactly the kind of training our sector needs more of."
